Founded in March 2023, Debaters of India is a student-led, national debate organisation committed to democratising access to structured debate, mentorship, and leadership across the country. The primary aim at Debaters of India has been to provide young debaters across the country with a platform to engage with and profit from fellow student debaters.
We organise championships, conduct training workshops, and build a supportive community where young minds develop the skills to articulate ideas, challenge perspectives, and lead with conviction.

First-ever Debaters of India × Oberoi International School WSDC Championship, bringing a full-scale DOI tournament to Mumbai for the first time. With over 150 registrations across junior and middle school categories, we saw participants travel in from across the country, reflecting the growing trust and recognition Debaters of India has built nationwide.
Following a rigorous selection process, the Top 24 debaters competed at the offline championship hosted at Oberoi International School, in front of school leadership, educators, and adjudicators. Proud to have introduced and established a high-quality WSDC platform here, and excited to see this continue to grow.
